The UK’s finest rhythm and blues band will be at The East Quay on March 10th. Described by Uncut as hard-ass, back-to-basics R’n'B”, Dr Feelgood’s raw and uncompromising style has made them one of the most exciting live bands around. THE BEAT

MARCH 9th 2012      7.30pm

THE EAST QUAY

Incredibly, it was The Beat’s first album that spawned the hits “Tears of a Clown”, “Mirror in The Bathroom”, “Hands off….She’s Mine” AND “Can’t Get used to Losing You”. After 3 platinum albums and having built a fantastic live reputation across the world, The Beat disbanded at the height of their fame.
Following numerous offers, they returned to the live stage in 2003 with a sell out at The Royal Festival Hall. Described by Q magazine as a

brilliant, uplifting live act with songs that sound as fresh today as they did 30 years ago…” The Beat promise Whitstable a blistering night of Ska classics.
